Obanzai refers the delicious side dishes that feature in Japanese home cooking. Each of these simple yet delicious dishes make the best use of local, seasonal ingredients.
Japanese food culture is greatly influenced by the deep value of nature held by the Japanese people. As such, we handle rice, eggs, tofu, etc. sourced locally from Kyoto so that what we produce and what we consume are both influenced by the local region.

Lounge Hanare
A unique Japanese sake experience you can enjoy with all five senses.
At the guests-only "Lounge Hanare," you can casually enjoy sake from the long-established Kinshi Masamune brewery in Kyoto.
This enchanting space evokes the atmosphere of a sake brewery, accented with sugidama (spherical ornaments made from Japanese cedar, traditionally hung from the eaves of sake breweries).
This allows you to enjoy sake while experiencing the fragrance and warmth of sugidama.
We also recommend taking a break in the lounge, and then savoring a relaxing time in your room.
