Sapporo TV Tower

Sapporo TV Tower

“Sapporo TV Tower,” completed in 1956, is located at the east end of Odori Park, and is a radio tower where you can enjoy 360-degree panoramic views of Sapporo.
From the 90 meter-high observation deck overlooking Odori Park, you can enjoy beautiful scenery and events that have different aesthetics for every season. If the weather is good, you can also see the Ishikari Plain and the Sea of Japan.

“Maruyama Zoo,” which is located in some of the most abundant nature in Japan, opened in 1951 to become the 10th zoo in the country. Its facilities are being renovated under the concept of “presenting animals in their natural habitat.” By reproducing the natural environment as closely as possible, the animals’ natural behavior is drawn out, and spectators can become immersed in nature along with them.

Mt. Moiwa

Mt. Moiwa

Mt. Moiwa is located 531 meters above sea level in Sapporo, Hokkaido. It is a famous sightseeing spot in Sapporo, where you can enjoy the cityscape, witness the beauty of each season, and experience spectacular panoramic views from the top of the mountain. Because the mountain can be climbed casually, it is popular among citizens of Sapporo as a spot for mountaineering and hiking.

Sapporo Dome

Sapporo Dome

The stadium is home to two professional teams, soccer and baseball. Sapporo Dome was built in 2001 on the hill of Sapporo, which is within the city but still surrounded by nature. Many events have been hosted at Sapporo Dome since its opening as the largest all-weather dome in Hokkaido.
