FLOOR MAP
  • 9F Outlook lounge

This lounge overlooks the city of Takayama and the Northern Alps. There is also a reading corner full of books and magazines to put you in touch with the culture, history, and ideology of Hida Takayama.

  • 9F A footbath

Made of Japanese cypress, this footbath is just the spot to chat about your trip. Take in the night view of downtown Takayama or the sunrise from the highest floor.

  • 9F Private baths

The baths are a luxurious private space for a long, relaxing soak. There are three kinds: Brown, Black, and Wood. Guests wishing to use them should kindly make a reservation that day at the front desk.

  • 3-8F Guest rooms

We worked with local craftsmen to make these rooms, with even-numbered floors having a “classic” theme, and odd ones a “modern” theme. Please enjoy the traditional Hida Takayama crafts decorating the rooms and their story of life.

  • 3-8F Galleries

On floors 3 through 8, each floor has a gallery space themed on the traditional Hida Takayama crafts which made our hotel’s interior, furnishings, and souvenirs possible.

  • 2F Large public baths

There are two baths: the “Japanese cypress bath” with its fragrant wood, and the “Gourd bath” with steam rising from the jet-black tub. Their use alternates between men and women, so feel free to enjoy one in the morning and a different one in the evening.

  • 2F Restaurant

At night, we prepare dishes along the lines of “feast in a castle town,” and in the morning the theme is “morning in a mountain village.” From the area’s highly praised Hida Beef to homemade dishes, visitors will taste and relish every bite of Hida Takayama’s culinary culture.

  • 1F Parking

    Parking lot (charge): 26 vehicles.
First come, first serve. Please use nearby coin parking if the facility parking lot is full upon your arrival.

  • 1F Front desk

The front desk is on the first floor, facing the entrance on the Takayama Station Police Box side. We also check bags before or after check in.

  • 1F Café

At the café bar corner next to the front desk, the local staff can recommend drinks and snacks for you. Enjoy mingling with other guests and locals in this open space.

  • 1F Shop

The gift shop has a selection of choice souvenirs of Hida Takayama. In addition to such foodstuffs as sweets, drinks, and seasonings, they also sell goods with a modern take on traditional crafts.

  • 1F Lounges

An opulent free space with solid timber tables and a Shunkei-nuri lacquer monument. Feel free to make use of the Wi-Fi here.
